I founded as a micro-bakery in 2019, being later joined by Ricardo Vieira. The initial plan was opening a food space that worked as a hub for rethinking the role of local agriculture and food production in Madeira, Portugal. Despite that, it quickly morphed into a pop-up, consultation and research project working alongside other businesses and institutions.

From 2019 to late 2020 we worked closely with farmers, restaurants and local government to figure out solutions to incentivize agriculture of the region’s very high quality produce. The collaborations took the form of fun pop-up events that used the produce as a centerpiece in contemporary recipes and retold the stories of the place’s gastronomic tradition in order find space for farmers to voice their experience.

I was also responsible for the project’s copywriting and visual brand/identity.
